Assalam-u-alaikum, I'm Zia Tabarak, in the middle of Sindh! And we're headed for Sehwan Shareef! Sindh well itself is full of shrines of sufi saints But Sehwan is famous for the shrine oF Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Where people of all sects and religions come to show respect But right now we're at a roadside restaurant for breakfast So we'll check this place out, see what's up? Sehwan has quite a lot to offer I myself have never explored this area either So let's have lunch and then explore the city, chalain! (let's go!) Salam brother, how's it going?

Sehwan Street Food

Quite the environment here I see? Yep! Have some food and tea with us, just relax! Indeed, what's in the menu? We've got mixed sabzi, mash daal, chicken qorma White mutton qorma too How much for one plate? 400/plate! This is moong daal, 130/ White mutton rosh! And how much for the rosh? 500/ The food's here, some sabzi, mash daal and white qorma So when you're travelling in Pakistan by road and see roadside eateries

Those eateries that make these sabzi and daals make them awesome! So trying out mixed sabzi and mash daal at these places is a must! Daal's a bit dry Trying with some raita Very nice! Now we have the mutton qorma I decided to take the qorma because it looks very tempting! Chicken biryani is here too, look at this! We'll try the biryani too but after the qorma Qorma is great! Delicious! Biryani looks beautiful, vibrant colors! 250/plate is reasonable as it's got a tikka in it! Biryani's flavor changes as the routes change Sindhi biryani's flavor is different compared to spicy biryani! Awesome!! We're done with lunch, let's head for Sehwan, chalain! (let's go!) We're in Sehwan and with us Nazir Mallah! Nazir lives in Sehwan and works in the Sindhi Ministry of Culture This is the Folk Craft Museum made by the Ministry! Tourists come here often The museum is located before the shrine of Lal Shah.

Let's check it out! So Nazir, when was this built? 10th of February, 2020 It was inaugurated by the Secretary of the Ministry It's about a year old It's a beautiful museum displaying ancient Sindhi culture and heritage! Culture that's very old is on display here in this small museum Well not exactly small because there's two floors! But Sindhi culture is so fascinating that even this museum is small for it As there's so much history! Yeah, the museum is small in that regard! Sindhi culture is historic! Museum looked great, headed for the shrine now! We're at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar

This street leads to the shrine Quite a unique atmosphere, we're heading for the shrine now! Saeen's grave is up ahead!  Lal Shahbaz's real name was Syed Usman Marvandi He was born in Afghanistan in 1177 And travelled throughout the islamic world for knowledge It's my first time at Lal saeen's shrine People of all religions and sects are here And are showing their devotion to him He established a madarssah in Sehwan in 1251 And inspired thousands with his teachings And taught religious harmony to people which Is why he's also called Jhulaylal We came here beacuse of Nazir
