GWADAR KA NASHTA AUR SHINWARI DINNER || DEEP SEA TRIP || MARINE DRIVE AT NIGHT

So it's our second day in Gwadar. We're in the middle of the sea where many fish are caught. It's a lovely and beautiful view! Assalamualaikum, my name's Zia Tabarak and it's our second day in Gwadar.

And with me are Farid Gwadari, Talha Amin, and Mukhtar Ghani. Mukhtar too is a vlogger and you've already met Farid. and they've brought us a special breakfast. What it is, is when fishermen leave for the sea early in the morning. The women make breakfast for the men, which they take with them, to eat later.

Gwadar ka Nashta aur Shinwari Dinner

and our friends have brought this special breakfast for us. We'll have that breakfast now, then explore the city later. Then have dinner at the famous Shinwari Hotel. So let's go! (chalain !) This looks like a Puri! Yes, but it isn't actually one! You guys brought too much! This is yoghurt, right? Yeah from Iran! This is Gwadari Fish.

Locals, Chinese and Thai all eat it. It's fried right? Yes! It's usually fried and thorny, but when fried more it tastes better. So the thorns get crispier after frying it longer? Yes! So this is the traditional food of Gwadar.

DEEP SEA TRIP

I'll tell you their names, in Balochi. So this is Kofta. Kofta? Yes, it resembles Puri but isn't Puri exactly. And these are Baankle, it's boiled with water, resembling Kidney Beans. And this is our homemade Roti, Looks a bit like Paratha.

This is our Khajoor. Which in itself is very healthy. This is what we call Kabuli in Balochi. This is called Mashek. Mashek? Yes.  It's made from pulses but it isn't like Haleem. And also tea. And this fish is called Lijjar in Balochi This is our Irani Yoghurt. Looks very rich and thick!

So we have our boiled Baanklek and Roti. Let's try it! Yeah tastes a bit like Kidney Beans but not exactly like them, and also smaller. It tastes a bit like olives, I can feel that too.  These Baanklek are like a combination of Chickpeas and Olives.

This is the Kofta, looks like Puri, seems very crispy. We'll try this with Mashek. That's made from pulses. Great isn't it?  So the Mashek-Kofta combo tastes like Halwa-Puri. I'm gonna call it Puri, that's what I keep calling it! Baaz wasshaan! Say again? It means excellent! Excellent, excellent! And this Sulaimani Qahwa is compulsory with it.

As the breakfast is heavy so Qahwa helps with digesting it. So we're dipping these Makrani Dates into Irani Yoghurt, like so. Dates, Yoghurt and Chickpeas are very healthy. Yoghurt too is thick and rich.

MARINE DRIVE AT NIGHT

This is the local fish Lijjar, I've never had fish for breakfast. Here they eat fish for breakfast too as it's their tradition. Some people eat it with the bones. And it's very delicious and fresh.

I love to have Fish and Tea in my breakfast!  It's compulsory for me, without them I can't have my breakfast! And if you want this for lunch then fish with boiled rice, just great! My favorite breakfast is the Kofta-Baanklek combo.

In my family if we don't get Fish for breakfast then no one eats a thing! Really?! Yep! Roti, Fish, Chai and Chickpeas are compulsory! One should try and embrace the culture of a place when travelling. And thank you all for being here. Oh it's our pleasure. The whole meal is absolutely delicious, after eating we'll explore Gwadar! So we're back at the harbor today and will go in deep sea! How're you doing brother?

The Biryani smells delicious! Let's see if we get a boat, then we can go into the sea!  So we've hired this old wooden-style boat!  We're going in deep sea and taking you with us on this journey! Alright let's check what's up!

This is how I'll get in because I'm new to this!Grab my hand! Alright!! Made it in! So these guys got back from the sea? Yeah they got crabs!  Salam brother ! How's it going? Check these crabs man! Beautiful beautiful! We've got two types of crabs here.  This one's a bit expensive, the other a bit cheap.

The big ones have more meat right?  Yes but don't snap the claws or it won't be worth much! You gotta be careful with them too because they can bite! Look one just bit me! Where? Right here! Oh so they're tangled and you're taking them out? Yes. So we're headed into deep sea right now and we are sailing!!! We can see Seagulls here too as this place is largely uninhabited.

GWADAR KA NASHTA AUR SHINWARI DINNER

The water is very clean too and the locals have ensured that. Hope that tourists, especially local ones, will keep it clean even in the future. It was an incredibly good experience! Thank you! So this is our hotel with a great view of the beach. This is a pretty good mid-range hotel.

You can get hotels here of all types including Pearl Continental. And this is our room! We've got an amazing view from here too! So we've relaxed for a bit and we're at Marine Drive now.

The Sun's about to set and this bust is of Syed Zahoor Shah Hashmi. And Farid will tell who he is. He wrote our first Balochi dictionary.  He was also an author, a poet and is very famous. And this beautiful bust was made by an Irani sculptor in his honor.

It's located here on Marine Drive. That hill is called Koh-e-Batil and we're going there before sunset. So let's go and check out Koh-e-Batil! This is Gwadar's Pearl Continental Hotel. We're at Sunset Park, that has a great view.  The sunset you saw from the car looks way more beautiful from here. We got a bit late but the view is still very good! So Farid here who's showing us around. He runs this RCDC Community Centre.
